NAVHS competitions provide individuals and programs the opportunity to virtually compete and earn points toward show and year-end high-point awards.
Our inclusive competitions are open to the following:

Neurotypical Individuals who participate in adaptive programs on academy horses
Beyond encouraging a sense of accomplishment, we aim to create a rewarding experience that celebrates participants’ goals, determination, and perseverance.
Our competitions also support and empower adaptive programs with opportunities to provide participants competitive shared experiences, encourage unity and engagement along with rewards directly for programs.
Who can participate?
Adaptive Riders: In order to participate, an exhibitor must have a medically diagnosed condition that causes a permanent impairment that can be measured objectively.

Academy Status: Be a family member of an Adaptive riding participant, taking lessons on a horse who is a lesson horse.

Veterans Riding: Open to active and retired military of all branches of service. Compete against others of like riding abilities from all over the country.

Non Mounted Competitors: So you don't ride, but have a working relationship with a horse. Show off your skills against others in a non-riding competition.
​
Hippotherapy Achievement Goal: A creative way to be recognized for achieving goals.
